At Griffin, we understand the need for destruction of documents and materials containing classified, sensitive, confidential, and medical records. Whether it be Paper, IT assets or other forms of Media, our company stands ready to provide safe, secure, non-reconstructable destruction.
Our destruction methods follow rigorous commercial standards and are in accordance with NAID Certification guidelines. We will process and permanently destroy all materials to a non-recoverable form as outlined by the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) standards. Once all materials have been securely destroyed, Griffin is proud to safely and securely recycle all pulverized shredding output, and provide each customer with a Certificate of Destruction after completion.
As well, our familiarity and understanding of not only secure operations, but medical confidentiality standards, such as HIPPA, PII, and PHI, allows Griffin to ensure patient data is protected and destroyed properly.
Griffin offers a service fleet of mobile shred trucks for onsite destruction services as well as collection trucks for off-site plant-based destruction. Both services, along with our well trained, highly reputable team members allow for the safeguarding and secure destruction of your materials.
Griffin has streamlined our processes for destruction actions to provide the most effective, cost-efficient methods for collection, storage, transportation, destruction and pulverization of your sensitive documents, IT, Media and more. We incorporated the following questions into our design of servicing:
• Do our team members exceed the required background checks to handle sensitive materials?
• How do we securely gather materials for processing?
• Are our containers lockable? Stored within locked areas? Always locked before exit?
• Are the material travel points from Storage to Onsite Shredding free from obstacles that could cause data leaks?
• For onsite shredding, are the materials safely contained within the shred truck and destroyed to nonrecoverable status before leaving site?
• For offsite, are the collection trucks locked, sealed and all materials contained within the truck?
• Are all plant-based destruction methods concealed with the plants four walls and destroyed to nonrecoverable status?
• Are all materials pulverized beyond recognition?
Before each location’s servicing, the team at Griffin design a comprehensive service guide, answering all the above and more. We ensure compliance with data safety regulations, NAID destruction methods and customer requirements before day one service!
By leveraging Griffin’s destruction best practices our customers have been able to:
• Maintain a consistent, auditable chain of custody from pickup to destruction.
• Stay current and compliant in an ever-changing regulatory climate.
• Retain complete visibility via reporting and online monitoring tools that help you keep control over your program, services, and costs.
